Personal Info

Mgr. Marie Sandersová, Ph.D. is a lecturer in interpreting at the Department of English and American Studies. She gained her interpreting diploma (DPSI) in the United Kingdom where she was a DPSI tutor and DPSI examiner for the Institute of Linguists. She was awarded a Ph.D. by the University of Sheffield in 2009. Between 1998 and 2004 she acted as a lecturer inthe Czech language at the University of Durham.  Currently, her research interests are community interpreting and methodology of interpreting.
